[Case Study] High Pressure Abnormality in Outdoor Unit! A Case of Troubles Resolved through Cleaning

This is a case where the issue of the outdoor unit, equipped with a cooling spray system, experiencing abnormal shutdown due to high pressure rise in summer was resolved.

At a mechanical manufacturing plant, an outdoor unit equipped with a cooling spray system experienced an abnormal shutdown due to a rise in high pressure during the summer. The outdoor unit had some white substance attached to it, and the company contacted us stating that "it cannot be removed by conventional regular cleaning with high-pressure water." Upon investigation, it was found that hard well water was used in the spray system, causing scale to precipitate and adhere to the fins of the outdoor unit's heat exchanger. Additionally, it was discovered that excessive cleaning with high-pressure water had caused the fins to bend, and the combination of scale and bent fins was blocking the airflow, leading to the high-pressure anomaly. As a solution, we carried out a cleaning process. During this, we used a special cleaning agent to avoid damaging the aluminum fins. The bent fins were also returned to their normal state, resolving the issue. [Case Summary] ■ Issues - The outdoor unit with a cooling spray system experienced an abnormal shutdown due to a rise in high pressure during the summer. - It could not be removed by conventional regular cleaning with high-pressure water. ■ Solutions - Cleaned with a special cleaning agent to avoid damaging the aluminum fins. - Restored the bent fins to their normal state. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Effect Verification Case] Major Food Factory Air Conditioning Outdoor Unit

The payback period is 6.4 months, which is a short span for a typical investment recovery!

We would like to introduce a case study on the effectiveness of cleaning and heat-insulating coatings applied to the outdoor air conditioning units of a major food factory. The verification method involved receiving the electricity consumption and costs from the customer before and after the installation to assess the effectiveness. As a result of the installation, we successfully achieved a reduction of 14.8% (6.12 million yen). The payback period for the installation costs is 6.4 months, which is notably short for typical investment recovery. 【Case Overview】 ■ Verification Method - Received electricity consumption and costs from the customer before and after the installation to assess effectiveness. ■ Verification Results - Successfully achieved a reduction of 14.8% (6.12 million yen). - The payback period for the installation costs is 6.4 months, which is notably short for typical investment recovery. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Energy-saving case study in nursing facilities] Chemical cleaning (partial) and heat-insulating coating for outdoor air conditioning units.

The reduction rate of electricity consumption is approximately 36% due to partial chemical cleaning and thermal insulation coating! *A collection of case studies from four industries is currently being offered.

In the materials available for download below, you can find a collection of construction verification case studies categorized by industry. Among them, in the case of a major elderly care facility where partial chemical cleaning and heat-reflective painting were performed on the outdoor air conditioning unit, the reduction rate of electricity consumption due to chemical cleaning alone was approximately 8.5%. While cleaning alone is already effective, the reduction rate increased to approximately 36.0% when combined with heat-reflective painting, confirming significant energy-saving effects by implementing both cleaning and heat-reflective painting. [Overview] ■ Verification Method - After construction, an accumulation meter was installed for 10 days to measure electricity consumption. - The extent of the difference in electricity consumption based on the implementation or non-implementation of each construction was verified. ■ Verification Results - The reduction rate of electricity consumption due to chemical cleaning alone was approximately 8.5%. - Additionally, the reduction rate increased to approximately 36.0% with the addition of heat-reflective painting. *For other industry-specific construction verification case studies, please download the catalog or feel free to contact us.
